This two-day continuous coast to coast walk from Hull to Liverpool was planned in support of Lois Huntingdon, for whom the target was to raise £7390 for a wheelchair transporter bike.
Not only did the event raise the targeted amount for Lois’s bike, but it also raised £14800 for the Forget Me Not Hospice who have been very supportive of Lois and her family over the last few years. To date, the participants have raised over £22200 in total. Urban Regen sponsored the element of the walk from Bury to Westhoughton, with additional support for the final leg from Anfield to the waterfront in Liverpool.
